14th August is an auspicious day in the calendar of BSOG, as it is recorded as the BSOG Foundation day.It was therefore called to celebrate Dr.Ratnabai Morey Memorial day and BSOG Birthday at Garden Asia Resort in a befitting manner, to commemorate the dear presidents who are no more with us and acknowledge in person the valuable contribution of all other past presidents
It was preceded by a short scientific session on TDAPP by Dr. Resham Dash and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss by Dr. Mrudubashini Govindrajan from Coimbatore. The Young Talent Award Session was chaired by Dr. L Krishna , D. Shobha N Gudi and Dr. Nagarathnamma. The topic for the session was Menstrual Cups -underused technology, which was delivered by Dr. Sushma Pampanavar.
The day was celebrated by remembering the founder president Dr. Ratnabai Morey and other past presidents of BSOG. An appreciation plaque was given to all the past presidents present there. The celebration for the day was concluded with cake cutting ceremony, cultural activities and DJ nite.
On 15th morning, BSOG celebrated Independence Day with members present, The indian Tricolour was hoisted by the president, Dr. R Nagarathnamma along with other senior members, followed by rendition of patriotic songs. It was followed with magic show, Shadow show and a game of housie for all the members. This was enjoyed by seniors and junior members of BSOG. Also members made use of swimming pool and enjoyed the rain dance.
It was first of its kind celebration by BSOG. Dr. R Nagarathnamma, Dr. Chandrika M, Dr. Shilpa G B, were instrumental in organising such a memorable and enjoyable two day event. Post event on 15th members returned back with happy memories.
