BSOG in association with Rajarajeswari Medical college hosted the Comprehensive Emergency care and Life Support Skill Transfer course organised by KSOGA and JeevaRaksha Trust on 2nd October 2019 at Rajarajeswari Medical college.
The goal is to train all KSOGA members in the basic principles of managing a critically ill
woman, which is all the more vital in a peripheral setup where full fledged critical care services are not readily available.
This 1-day sensitization program formed the preliminary screening course where a few
talented, committed Gynaecologists would be identified and trained at a further RGUHS certified 5-day TOT Program (Training of trainers), to play a strategic role in spreading this vital skill all across Karnataka.
The skills stations were -
Dr. Ram Nair and his team from JeevaRaksha effectively conducted the stations, providing hands-on training to all the delegates.
Dr. Kasturi Donimath, Secretary KSOGA, was instrumental in conducting this program all over Karnataka.
Dr. Shobha Gudi, Dr. Durgadas Asranna and Dr. Nagarathnamma were the convenors. Dr. Nagarathnamma, president BSOG was instrumental in organising it in Rajarajeswari Medical college.
About 80 delegates attended and were benefited by the training.
