On 09/03/2021, between 3 pm to 4 pm, Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology arranged a webinar which was sponsored by Emcure pharma.
Agenda of the program comprised of two talks.
Dr. Thejavathy, President, BSOG, welcomed the chairpersons, Dr. Gomathy Narayan and Dr. Indira C Reddy, both senior members of our society.
Dr. Gomathy gave brief introduction of the molecule, Tranexamic acid and introduced the first speaker, Dr. Nagarathnamma, ex President, BSOG.
Topic of Dr. Nagarathnamma 's talk was on " Tranexamic acid: A review of its use in surgery and other conditions ". She spoke on indications, contraindications, different routes of administration, different trials on tranexamic acid , its obstetric uses etc.,
Second speaker was Dr. Manjula Patil, E C member, BSOG, who delivered her talk on "Ways to tackle Anemia in Gynec conditions". She explained about different causes of anemia, different routes of administration, and ways of correction.
Both the talks were followed by q and a session , which was conducted by both the chairpersons which was quite interactive.
Dr. Rekha Rajendrakumar delivered the vote of thanks.
